WITH SO MANY JUICERS TO CHOOSE FROM, WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

There are three main types of juicers: masticating, centrifugal, and triturating (twin gear). When considering which type to buy, it is important to compare the quality and quantity the juicer will output with the same amount of produce. Some juicers generate more produce waste and less juice than others. This will affect the long-term vs. short-term cost of your product.

GREENSTAR® ELITE JUMBO TWIN GEAR SLOW MASTICATING JUICER

The Greenstar Elite Jumbo Twin Gear Slow Masticating Juicer is both a masticating and triturating (twin gear) juicer. Previously I used a centrifugal juicer, but learned from HMI’s founder Liana Shanti that the Greenstar has mostly been her go-to. And she juices a lot. She also uses the Kuvings Wide Mouth Slow Juicer, an option that is less expensive as well. The yield from my produce with the Greenstar juicer has cut my weekly grocery bill in half, and the quality of the juice is far superior. I can easily put in leafy greens and herbs as well. I personally find the prep and cleanup to go quite quickly, but the drawback for most is its prep, arm strength needed to operate, and cleanup. Here is a Green Star Elite Demonstration Video.

THE JUICE FOUNTAIN® PLUS

My first juicer was the Breville Fountain Plus. I bought it because I honestly wasn’t sure about juicing, and it was inexpensive but the best of the inexpensive. It is fast, I barely did any chopping, and the output was decent. I was happy this was my first juicer - especially while I was on the parasite cleanse juicing fruit and veggies. However, it does not yield a ton of juice from herbs and greens. So once I was on the candida cleanse, I upgraded to the Greenstar Elite and that is by far the superior of the two.
