The most common issues we help our clients work through are stress, anxiety and anger management. It is important for us to help you build your confidence and esteem, improve communication and methods to help you manage some of the most challenging times in your life. Help you understand what brought you to this point, and what can you do to redirect towards a life that actually has meaning and moments of joy.
We are available to meet with you face to face or over the phone, whatever method you are most comfortable with. We will work through your short term and long term goals to ensure we get you to where you feel you have a sense of control over your own life again.
Damaging Effects of Suppressed ANGER
Anger is a powerful emotion that can stem from hurt, pain, trauma and abandonment. Often it is at the root of anxiety and depression. Sometimes accessing our anger needs to come first, before we can access the causes of our depression and anxiety . "Repressed anger can manifest in various forms, including depression, people-pleasing behaviours, paranoia, and passive-aggressive behaviours. Repressed anger usually stems from childhood trauma or social conditioning."

In the article "Trans fat consumption and aggression" published by National Library of Medicine, Epub 2012 Mar 5. it conducted a clinical trial of 945 adult men and women. The trial found "the first evidence linking dTFA (dietary trans fatty acids) with behavioural irritability and aggression."
The manufactured form of trans fat, known as partially hydrogenated oil, can be found in a variety of food products. Natural trans fats are formed by bacteria in the stomachs of cattle, sheep, and goats. Beef, lamb, and dairy products contain naturally occurring trans fats. Other types of meat, such as poultry, fish, and pork, also contain a small amount.
